Hipster Zombie Cake
The undead are here and they want braiiinssss… as long as it’s gluten free, pasture raised and vegan of course!
I created this little hipster zombie guy originally for a fun tv appearance on Food Network called Road to Halloween Wars. They wanted me to make a zombie cake similar to others I have made. Ironically most of those zombie cakes have been for Sugar Spooks! I decided to go with a zombie that is a nod to where I live, Portlandia! Complete with buffalo plaid, glasses and hiking boot. My guy is made from cake, fondant, modeling chocolate, photofrost edible image sheets, simi cakes isomalt and rice noodles for the hair.
